Here’s the diagram that I mentioned yesterday.
Textual Healing
It’s a little different than some of the stuff I usually do but still related to my work…. It stemmed from these sketches I was doing for something I’d like to eventually make into a screen print. I noticed how the figures looked so much like apostrophes and quotation marks, I thought why not try actually using these symbols.
The thing I like about doing a residency and being in a new environment is being able to experiment. New ideas come about just from being in a different setting. I’m interested to see what else I end up making while here. Surprises are good.
