The paintings are finished, and I will be updating my website with them soon.\u00a0 In the meantime, here is another shot of them in my studio:<\/p>\n

I’ve had many comments from people when they see my actual work, compared to viewing the paintings on my website, that they had no idea of the size of the work.\u00a0 Sometimes the really small paintings were perceived as large ones online, since they are all sized the same on my website, so it’s hard to gauge the actual size of a painting.<\/p>\n

So to capture the size of these miniatures, I thought it would be a good idea to take a photo of them with something that people can compare its size to.\u00a0 I chose a penny, and the pictures below show how small the details are in the painting compared to a penny!<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed painting the patterns in the shirt.\u00a0 I love painting patterns, and I’m starting to plan my next pieces now, which will be considerably larger than these miniatures.\u00a0 Be prepared for big bold patterns as they will definitely be making an appearance!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
