As promised, here are some photos from this past weekend’s Eastside Culture Crawl, for all those who couldn’t make it or weren’t in town.\u00a0 It was a busy weekend, and I meant to take photos to show how many people there were in the space, but it got so busy that I didn’t have time to.\u00a0 So these will have to suffice…photos of the set up.<\/p>\n

A huge difference compared to my older studio, where I only had one wall (and just a section of that one wall at that!)…I had the whole front section of the room to put up all of my work from over the years, including a section dedicated to just my illustration and design work too.<\/p>\n

I met lots of really wonderful people this weekend at the Crawl, and one of those people who stood out from the rest was Chris Tyrell<\/a>, author of Artist Survival Skills: A Professional Development Primer for Canadian Visual Artists<\/em>, as well as the founding editor of the Visual Arts Newsletter for Opus Framing and Art Supplies<\/em>.\u00a0 There is a blog post about me on his new Art Marketing Blog<\/a> (a great read for artists about how to market themselves): Crawl 2010 Superlative Studio Experience Award<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
