Yesterday, I went out with a couple of friends from my residency to go on a trail in the woods to The Crow’s Nest, which was a clearing that overlooked Lake Michigan. Somehow, what was supposed to be an easy 20 minute walk ended up taking us 2 hours as we kept going along the wrong trails.

We probably went down every trail possible, as we kept coming to forks in the trail and I suppose we chose the wrong turn each time. Nevertheless, we finally made it to The Crow’s Nest and were rewarded with a beautiful view overlooking the lagoon near Ox-Bow and Lake Michigan in the distance.
