I can’t believe how both quickly and slowly the past four weeks have gone by. I’ve got one more week here and Ox-Bow and am just finishing up my second painting. Since I work in oils, I have to give my paintings enough time to dry in order to wrap them and bring them back with me, so I’m just putting the finishing touches on my newest painting, but I might not be able to fully finish it until I’m back home. In the meantime, here are some preview shots of details from the painting, depicting the story of Echo and Narcissus.

The wind storm that I made the short animated video from, in my last blog post, lasted a couple of days. I managed to get some photographs of the sunset over the lagoon while the wind was still gusting. It’s supposed to be nice and sunny for the next week, which I’m really looking forward to over the rain we’ve had in the last week.
I’ve got just over 5 days left here at Ox-Bow…! Have to get lots of stuff done! I’ve been updating my Tumblr blog with images of random photos and work that I’ve been doing here, so remember to check that out too. More updates to come…
