A brother-sister creative agency<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

A few months back, at the Culture Crawl late last year, I briefly met Izabela Domachowski, who is the creative director of DOMOGENEOUS<\/a>, a brother-sister creative agency that she runs with her brother Daniel.\u00a0 Recently, I was asked to take part in a series of interviews featuring creative Vancouverites for their blog.<\/p>\n

I’m very honoured to be the first interview!\u00a0 Here’s a little taster:<\/p>\n

Roselina Hung is one of those creatives we wish we had as a sibling growing up. Similar to the DOMOGENEOUS brand, her oil painted portraits focus on the concepts of nostalgia, family and memory. Each painting is rich with enchanting imagination and decorative surfaces both with texture and pattern.<\/p>\n

Firstly, thank you so much for your participation. As you may have figured out, our childhood is significant in our brand and website. Can you tell us a bit about your family and upbringing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My childhood was a happy and fun one, with lots of creativity surrounding my younger sister and I. My parents are from Taiwan, so we often traveled back and forth between Asia and Vancouver, as well as around the US, so I feel really lucky that my parents wanted us to see and learn a lot from traveling, which has stuck with me to this day. I also took a lot of art, piano and dance lessons, so I was always doing something creative. I was encouraged from a very young age to embrace the little artist in me.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
