I received an e-mail a couple of weeks ago from the Kingston Prize<\/a> organizers that on a trip made to Australia last fall, they had gone to visit the National Portrait Gallery of Australia<\/a> and suggested that they feature the Kingston Prize in their quarterly journal, Portrait<\/a>. \u00a0The gallery happily agreed to share the information on the Canadian portrait award and exhibition, as one of the must see shows in their international listings section, and they chose my painting, Coda: Self-Portrait in the Studio<\/em>\u00a0to print.<\/p>\n
