I actually chose to go to the University of British Columbia because I was thinking of doing a double major in English Literature and Fine Art.  It was only because I went away on exchange to Paris in my third year that I didn&#8217;t have enough credits for the double major, and I had no desire to stay at UBC for another year.  But throughout my education, from high school through my undergraduate degree, I always took English Literature classes.
