Spatial Recognition

For the past few months, I have been teaching the Arts Umbrella Buschlen Mowatt Teen Scholarship program.  This year was the 25th anniversary of the scholarship program, and today marked the end of the final student exhibition: Spatial Recognition.  I’m really proud of my students and the work that they created, and here’s a quick look at the students’ work.

Aidan Hanlon, Ummmm…
Alison Seong, Foot Through Space
Christine Park, Confession Stand
Isabel Mink, Mzuri Loves Company
James Yan, Breathe in, Breathe out
Jeannie Rhyu, Curtain-Thin Difference
Jimmy Ke, The Sights Unseen
Khorshid Naderi-Azad, WE make the space
Kristal Ng, The Space She Could Have Gotten
Minjoo Kim, Space
Nora Kelly, light, space, time
Siah Seong, A value of coexistence

Congratulations to all of the students, and I look forward to seeing more art from them in the future.
