I’m now into the second week of my Banff residency, and we’ve started a group blog on Tumblr. Today I’ve finally felt the cold of Banff. Last week wasn’t that bad, but I definitely felt it outside today, walking to my studio. In the couple of minutes it took me to walk, I could feel the cold freezing the inside of my nose as I breathed! The temperature is supposed to drop even further, so there will be lots of staying indoors in the studio working this week. I’ve had a pretty good start on my Daphne’s Metamorphosis painting. I’ll post some photos soon.
