Photo Diary – UK Pt. 1

I kept it a bit hush hush, but I have actually just returned from a trip to the UK.  It was my first time back in 3 years…I can’t believe it’s been so long.  It was a very short trip, mainly to visit my partner’s family in High Wycombe, which is just outside of London, but I did get to spend a few days in London and it’s amazing how much it has changed since I left.  I guess they are making a lot of changes with the upcoming Summer Olympics in 2012 – there are massive holes all around the centre of London where they brought down entire blocks of buildings and are putting in new train lines.  It’s very weird to see the city like that, especially after experiencing all the changes in Vancouver for the 2010 Winter Olympics, but it is nowhere close to the scale of things happening in London right now.

The unseasonably warm weather was a blessing and here’s my UK trip photo diary.  Check back all week for updates.
