All packed up at William Clark Studios

It’s hard to believe sometimes that I’ve been back in Vancouver for just over 3 years now.  When I moved back to Vancouver, after a bit of settling in time, one of the first things I did was look for a studio.  Searching for a studio is never an easy thing – and often there is much more demand than supply.  So when I first called Parker Street studios, I was told that there was no space, and when I asked to be placed on the waiting list, I was told there was no point as it was so long I had no chance of getting a studio there!  Luckily I called William Clark Studios and a small space had just opened up.  I saw it and took it immediately, and I’ve been working there for the past 3 years.  With all the work that I’ve been producing over these past few years, I’ve slowly been running out of space and growing out of the space.  I had been looking for a larger space to move into, but I couldn’t find anything suitable…until last week.

I jumped at the chance to move into my new lovely studio space at Parker Street studios: 500 sq. ft. compared to the 162 sq. ft. I had before!  So I’m really looking forward to creating lots of new work in this space, and I look forward to meeting everyone at the Crawl this November.  I’ve heard how crazy it can get at Parker Street that weekend, and I can’t wait to show you all my new work.

In the meantime, here are some photos of my new studio (I’ve unpacked since and already started painting in there and it’s wonderful!)
